Obituary of Louis A. Nasti
Lou was a talented animator, a real-life Geppetto, who dedicated his life to creating mechanical displays. His over 50 years in business was nothing short of a true passion. He loved creating a magical environment and experience for people with his displays. Known mainly for Christmas, his displays can be found around the world. Even though Lou was known to be in his shop 7 days a week, he always said he never worked a day in his life. “When you love what you do, it is not work.”
Lou, a proud Brooklyn-Italian man and Opera enthusiast, was kind, generous, and a true creative genius. He loved the arts, was fascinated by science, had a vibrant home garden, and loved an ice-cold beer. His charismatic charm left a special imprint on all who knew him.
